Bert Simons paper sculptures.

Self Portrait / clone
Bert Simons is a Dutch artist who makes paper by folding photorealistic 3D recreations based on triangulation, similar process to that used to model characters in video games.

Mr.I.Opstelten
Stunning sculptures that seem to come alive, is the sign of that in art we all serve and exploit technological tools at our disposal these days to create magnificent works of art like these.

Harry Hamelink
To make his realistic portraits of the model first scanned paper, using points on the face to get a number of references, which then moved to the computer, which reconstructs the face with Blender, an open-source 3D. After moving 3D modeling to a 2D surface, flattening the texture, and then print it all. Finally paste the puzzle until all the sculpture.

Rozemarijn Lucassen
Bert Simons manages to stop time in creating these spectacular paper sculptures in three dimensions.

Marc Quinn "Fascinating"

Marc Quinn is a fascinating artist, the characters in his works is happy and natural and teaches us that we can find beauty where ever you look. Among his works are the portraits of famous people like Michael Jackson and Kate Moss.

Marc Quinn shows us the harsh reality as it is, unequivocally, but the serenity and beauty that convey his sculptures reminds us that even in spite of suffering there is always hope to find happiness.

This beautiful bronze sculpture of Buck & Allanah, masterfully portrays the naked bodies of a transsexual couple, with lacquered bonce get that glowing effect that looks like gold, reminds me of the sculptures of ancient Egypt (Menkaure and his wife ) representing members of the nobility.

Planet is a sculpture in bronze and painted steel represents our civilization as a giant baby who lacks still much to learn. It is impressive sculpture anoint not only for its size but for the masterful execution and technique of the artist.

Turner "the painter of light"

Self portrait, oil on canvas, circa 1799
"We want to make a small tribute to a masterful British painter Turner to represent as anyone knew, the effects of light on the elements and use them to give sublime emotion and drama never seen before in landscape painting."

Joseph Mallord William Turner, was a British Romantic landscape painter, water-colourist, and printmaker. Turner was considered a controversial figure in his day, but is now regarded as the artist who elevated landscape painting to an eminence rivalling history painting. Although renowned for his oil paintings, Turner is also one of the greatest masters of British watercolour landscape painting. He is commonly known as "the painter of light" and his work is regarded as a Romantic preface to Impressionism. Some of his works also are cited as examples of Abstract Art existing prior to recognition in the early twentieth century.

Rain, Steam and Speed – The Great Western Railway painted (1844).
"In the paintings of Turner "Rain, Steam and Speed" reflects a strong knowledge of the oil using the same technique and superb knowledge of the light that filters through the dense mix of the three elements that come together at that moment that the artwork is created."

The shipwreck of the Minotaur, oil on canvas

highlights the main scene of the sinking of this copper illuminating the rest is more dim giving the work a terrifying drama."

Armiche Cabrera "Passion for Photography"

"I was born 37 years ago on an island in the Atlantic, full of colors and flavors, the variety of its climate, rugged terrain full of cliffs, its beaches and its mountains have made many foreign denominated in many occasions the "miniature continent " this makes you discover places, delve into an island full of contrasts and stories, where you can enjoy the wide range of colors that nature gives us. There is always something new to discover, even though you think you already have all seen, if something catches your eye, and you translate that to a shot, which then transforms into photography. When you learn to see beyond where perhaps others do not , when to you what colors, shapes, not what everyday people usually see is when you start to be aware that in some way you have to keep it, and maybe for me that's photography, a way of preserving what I see on places, people and situations that I generate the need to capture and shape by means of photography. My late vocation and my humble dedication to photography are beyond technical training, I was late but I try to be learning little by little, until it's time to learn technically photography, for now just try to share through the photograph framed my eyes and my heart feels in certain situations in this island called Gran Canaria..."

Portrait of an Artist: Kumi Yamashita

"My submitted artwork is from a series I call Constellation. Thousands of tiny nails called “brads” are inserted into a wooden panel painted white, and one unbroken sewing thread is woven amongst the brads to create the portrait. I created this portrait of my niece from a photo that I found as I was going through a box of snapshots. There was something in her young, open face that made me want to stare at her for a long time."
