Jose Santos, portraits.

portraits of Angela Rodriguez, Manuel Santos and Daniel Betancor.

This exhibition consists of three parts, the first is a small sample of "quick portrait sketch" where the important thing is to capture the moment while occurs, the author focuses on the main picture and ignores the other elements form the scene. In these works the author uses wax crayons and pencils on Canson paper to create their works.

In these other, uses graphite pencil to make sketches of celebrities, performing to practice their art. Use this form of graphic expression to capture images fresh and bright. This time we can see the portrait of John Lennon and James Dean.

In this third part, are ink drawings, using the stippling technique for the portrait of his grandfather and the portrait of Nelson Mandela used the technique of crossed lines.
The ink is applied in several ways, as explained above, depending on the effect you want to achieve in the drawing but can also be applied with a brush, which uses watercolor.
